1 ноября MMORPG The Lord of the Rings: online была переведена на систему микротранзакций, полностью отменив абонентскую плату. К сожалению, изменения на данный момент касаются только европейской версии игры; на эту же модель оплаты скорее всего будет переведена грядущая MMORPG Star Trek Online.
2 ноября была отправлена в печать ролевая игра Два мира 2; российский релиз состоялся десятью днями позже — 12 ноября.
18 ноября появился очередной геймплейный трейлер Deus Ex: Human Revolution, который позволяет оценить немного переработанную боевую систему и принцип действия новых гаджетов.
19 ноября анонсирован аддон Rise of Isengard к уже упомянутой онлайн-игре The Lord of the Rings: online.
26 ноября вышла немецкая ролевая игра Drakensang: Река времени.
Слухи
Обозначена дата релиза игры Ведьмак 2 — он появится в российских магазинах 17 мая 2011 года.
Слухи о консольной версии Diablo 3 практически подтвердились, поскольку Blizzard набирает команду разработчиков с опытом разработки консольных проектов.
Bioware работают над новой игрой. Вероятнее всего, это будет очередная часть Mass Effect. Столь же вероятно, что это будет не прямое продолжение сиквела, а спин-офф.
The Elder Scrolls 5 действительно находится в разработке, о чем проговорился один из сотрудников Bethesda. Пятая часть станет прямым продолжением TES: Oblivion.
Новая боевая система Dragon Age 2
«Консольные версии сохранят доступ к тактическому меню и возможности переключаться между сопартийцами. Можно сперва натравить их на одного врага, затем на другого — они будут следовать всем вашим командам. Вы можете одновременно думать как генерал и сражаться как спартанец, в том числе и на консолях. Но различий между PC и консолями действительно станет больше. В Dragon Age 2 мы ориентируемся на более массовую аудиторию, добавив больше боевых элементов для тех, кому они нравятся, но оставив при этом тактический элемент для тех, кто полюбил игру такой, какой она была. Мы хотим, чтобы наши игры нравились как можно большему кругу людей. Для этого у нас налажена обратная связь с игровым сообществом. У нас есть форумы с массой преданных фанатов. Мы внимательно их слушаем и отвечаем на их пожелания. Именно так сформировались ключевые изменения в Dragon Age 2 по сравнению с первой частью».
